Janice Trusky received her terminal degree (MFA), from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2004. She focused her studies on Painting, Drawing, Printmaking and Art History. Janice received her BFA from Kutztown University in 1994. She has also studied Renaissance Art History and Plein Air Landscape Painting in Italy.
She has had solo exhibitions and has been selected in group and juried art shows both in New York and the surrounding areas in and around Philadelphia. Currently, selected work can be seen at the Carol Schwartz Gallery in Chestnut Hill, PA.
Janice lectured at the College Art Association (CAA) Conference in Seattle where she presented professional guidelines for studio classes which use live models. The guidelines were accepted by the CAA’s Professional Practices Committee. Currently she teaches at Penn State University, Temple University Ambler Campus , Montgomery County Community College and Gwynedd Mercy University. She provides private instruction for individuals and small groups. Classes taught include: Painting;,Drawing, and Art Histories. Janice Trusky also offers individual and group critiques for advanced students and working artists.
